Those who knew Nat have lost a true friend. He was my classmate at Covington High School (39-43) and also at UGA (47). We kept in touch through the war years and when he moved to Athens, we renewed our long friendship. I have many happy memories of Nat through the years. He came to a birthday party at my home a week before his death and was enjoying himself immensely. He
was truly excited about going to the Tech-Ga game on Saturday--he almost made it! All of us Dawgs will miss you, Nat....rest in peace.

I've been fortunate enough to know Nat for almost 11 years. If I needed tickets to a Georgia game, Nat could get me the tickets, no matter what. He was a good friend, and will be missed a great deal.

Although I didn’t know Nat as well as some of you, I did have the good fortune of talking on the phone many times with him and meeting him a few times. Nat was one of my Bulldawg football ticket connections as well as the connection for some of my friends. Nat could find tickets when others couldn’t. I thought about him on my way home from the UGA/Tech game on Saturday night and thought of calling him on Sunday to see how he enjoyed the game. Even though a friend had witnessed someone having a heart attack just outside the stadium prior to the game, I had no idea it was Nat. He’ll be missed but now has the best seat in the house. Saturday’s game was for you Nat. UGA - 15 Tech 12. Rest in peace!

Nat was a great fan of the Bulldogs.......He was a fraternity brother of my fathers and he was always bright ,cheerful and a pleasure to be around.
God bless you Nat.
I was lucky to know him and call him a true friend.

What a wonderful man. There is a void in our community. I spoke with Nat minutes before his death and know that he was a happy man that day -- he was headed to watch his Bulldogs play ball.
