Ronnie Grizzle Obituary
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Saturday, February 20 at the Grizzle Family Farm at 740 Cromers Bridge Rd. Royston, GA.
Ronnie was born October 14, 1951 in Royston, GA to Edward and Kathleen (Dutton) Grizzle. He graduated from Franklin County High School and attended Athens Technical School and Dekalb Junior College. Ronnie Served in the United States Navy. Afterwards, he was employed in the printing industry for many years before becoming a long-haul truck driver where he enjoyed viewing many panoramic sites of the countryside. For fun, Ronnie enjoyed playing golf on many different courses with his sons and close friends.
Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Eli R. Grizzle and Tyler B. Grizzle, His father Edward R. Grizzle, His two siblings Wanda Grizzle Beard and her husband Wendell Beard, Eddie "Wayne" Grizzle and his wife Rhonda Grizzle, several nieces and nephews and their children.
He was preceded in death by his mother who passed in 2010. Ronnie lost his battle to cancer and joined her in heaven on her birthday. 10/14/1951 - 2/11/2016

My heart breaks when I think of all you have been through. But my heart rejoices knowing I'll see you again. From the foot rubs I have given you to the last prayer we prayed I will miss you.You were an amazing dad and the best father in law I could have ever ask for. Thank you for loving and accepting me into your family. I am fortunate I was given the opportunity to meet such a sweet gentle soul. I'm glad I found that in you. I love you Ronnie and I will miss you soooo much. You will always have a special place in my heart.
