I was Sara Anne's Wesleyan roommate our sophomore year and have just learned of her death while reading the Wesleyan magazine.

We had a fun time back in the 60's. She and I could stay up all night studying and then sleep for 2 days straight!

I also remember her gracious mother, her fun brother Carey, her Mom's fried chicken and scalloped apples.

I was from Lincolnton, and she & I were Phi Mu sisters at Georgia. She was also in my wedding in 1964. We also had a ball with Jane Chambers Bostwick from Madison.

I'm sure you all have many fond memories of her, and she will be dearly missed. I hope she did not suffer.

I've been in Nebraska for 35+ years; otherwise, I'm sure we would have seen each other often.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Beth (Turner) Concannon.

It saddens me to hear of the passing of a Phi Mu sister. Although I did not know Mrs. Stephens personally, she sounds like she was a very special person and touched the lives of many.
Phi Mu has lost a beautiful sister!
