Dr. and Mrs. Josey,
I know it has been a while, but I just heard about Seth. He was the first friend I made when I started school in Statesboro. As you both know, Seth and I were best friends for many years. Although I only had sporatic contact with him the last few years, I still think of and speak of him often. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. He will be sorely missed.

Aw, man. I haven't talked to Seth in years but he is one of the strongest memories of my college friends. Everything posted here about him is true and more. I wish I had kept better contact. My heart goes out to all of you.

To the Josey family-

I went to school with Erin, and remember Seth as a not-so-obnoxious big brother. Later, we had college friends in common, and my opinion only got better. Shocked and so, so sorry. My thoughts are with you.

To the Josey family,

Please know my thoughts are with you and your family. I haven't seen Seth for years, but I have such fond memories of him. I live close to where his accident occured and was shocked to hear about it on the local news.

Again, my thoughts are with you all. Seth was one of a kind.

I will never forget Seth's ability to smile through any difficult circumstance-from our days as burger flippers at Hardee's to our struggles in accounting in college, Seth always made me feel better about life when I was around him. He had a kind word for everyone and a heart of gold...I had trouble understanding his positive attitude sometimes. I know he was a Christian and that makes his death easier to accept. In my mind's eye I still see his smiling face, always, ALWAYS smiling!!!..and that is the way I will choose to remember him, until I see him again in Heaven. Isaiah wrote that "The righteous perish, and no man layeth it to heart...devout men are taken away and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death."

Will see you in the by and by, my friend.....

Dear Josey Family,
Seth stayed at our resort while he was learning how to fly. We see hundreds of customers/pilots in one summer, but sometimes there is just one who stands out from all the rest. That person was Seth. It didn't matter if the clouds were low and gray, Seth had a smile like sunshine. He brightened up the world every time we saw him. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are just a small portion of the world that Seth graced with his kindness. He will never be forgotten~

Very compassionate, extremely smart and my mentor (I wanted to be a Database Administrator also) and a very big heart and smile. He was very well loved there and will truly be missed.
