Harry Abernathy Obituary

Mr. Harry Hoyle "Chip" Abernathy III, 68, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 22, 2018. "Chip" was the son of the late Attorney Harry Hoyle Abernathy, Jr. and longtime educator, the late Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Bell Abernathy.
"Chip" graduated from Great Falls High School. He attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was employed as a licensed funeral director/embalmer for funeral homes in Charleston as well as in other areas of the state. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Abernathy Bryan of Great Falls; his nephew, Jeffrey (Julie) Bryan of Great Falls; a great niece, Rebecca Bryan and a great nephew, Wayne Bryan both of Great Falls.
Arrangements are entrusted to Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls.

I have many fond memories of Chip at Dad's House. We loved him and enjoyed every moment we had with him growing up. He was a delightful character.
