Leon Tobias Obituary

Mr. Leon Tobias, 40, of 647 Center Road passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Browns Chapel AME Zion Church with the Rev. Paul Long officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Chester County on June 27, 1974, he was the son of Willie Mae Tobias and Johnnie Robert Crank Jr. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Fairfield County, a 1993 graduate of Chester High School and was employed by Boise Cascade of Chester.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Survivors are his wife, Mary S. Lightner Tobias; two daughters, Bre'Isshya Tobias and Sha'mia Tobias; one son, Cam'ron Tobias; mother, Willie Mae Tobias; father, Johnnie Robert Crank Jr.; stepfather, Willie James Strong; four brothers, Gabriel (Belinda) Tobias, Deterrio (Sharicka) Tobias, Robert R. Crank and Djarvis R. Crank; one stepbrother, Willie Strong; two sisters, Katie Washington and Kendal Crank; paternal grandmother, Ora Bell Crank; mother-in-law, Mary L. Lightner; father-in-law, Willie James Canty Sr.; and aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins.
King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester, was in charge of arrangements.
