Madeline Miles

Mrs. Madeline Feaster Miles peacefully transitioned from this life on January 16, 2025, at MUSC Health Medical Center Columbia, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Chester, South Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of the late Amos Feaster and the late Josie Campbell Feaster.
Madeline is reunited with her husband, Willie Miles Jr.; her father and her mother; her stepmother, Annie Feaster; her grandson, Adrayll Minter; her sisters, Elma F. Frederick, Emma F. Ware; and brother, McKinley Feaster.
Madeline is survived by her adoring children, Carolyn Miles Stevenson (Charles), Roslyn Miles Kennedy, Phyllis Miles Foster (Tommy), all of Chester, S.C., Jacqueline Miles Lowry (John) of McConnells, S.C., Bernard Miles (Teresa) of Chester, S.C., and Virginia Miles McMillian of Far Rockaway, N.Y. Her presence and guidance shaped their lives, and her family will carry her spirit with them always.
To cherish her memories she leaves her siblings, James Feaster (Naomi) of Hephzibah, GA, Carnell Feaster Sanders (Jelester) of Charlotte, N.C., Levada Feaster of Chester, S.C., Reperzelle Feaster Ware of Charlotte, N.C., Laura Feaster Frederick of Hephzibah, GA, Del Gracia Feaster Thompson, Sarah Caldwell and Maggie James (Robert), all of Chester, S.C.; two sisters-in-love, Cassie B. McClurkin of Newark, N.J. and Cubie Miles.
Kay held her grandchildren close to her heart. Cherished are 15 grands, 24 great-grands and 12 great-great-grands.
Fondly remembering her are two aunts, Betty Feaster of Rock Hill, S.C. and Willie Bell Lloyd of Charlotte, N.C.
Funeral services were held at noon Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 807 Darby Road, Chester. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Viewing was at the Chris King Memorial Chapel, 121 Mobley St., Chester, on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. with Eastern Star Rites at 6 p.m.
