Dear Alice,
We are sincerely going to miss you. You had a special way of greeting everyone with your warm smiles and your great hugs and giving them your undivided attention. You were so independent, stately and stylish. You went out of your way to make each person feel like they mattered. I envy your great ability to remember each person’s name.
When we first moved here, I called the church to register and inquire about the choir. You firmly stated that Santiago had one of the best choirs in Orange County. You always were so proud of Santiago and all it had to offer.
I will never forget warning you about the spicy hot Lenten soups or chili, and you chuckled and said, “They aren’t too hot for me.” I am sure you enjoyed your party with so many of your friends there. It was amazing how many people traveled long distances to say a final farewell. As I said, we are going to miss you, but we won’t forget you. Please remember us.

I would like to send my sincere sympothy to the Samuelson family. Alice was such a spunky lady. We go back many years because...I was Mark's 2nd grade teacher for a little while. I was so amazed at how long she worked at the church. God bless your family. I think of you all often!

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the family of Alice. She was an outstanding woman who always had a cheerful voice whenever I called the office. She never made me feel like I was disturbing her, but was helpful with whatever question I may have. I always enjoyed seeing her at Mass on Sunday when I sang in the choir. She will be dearly missed.

Alice was our favorite lady who we looked forward to seeing on Sunday mornings when we went to Mass. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and always gave us both a big hug. She would tell us all about her grandson and how he was doing in high school. We have one of the rosary boxes Eric made and she knew it had a special place in our home. Alice will always be in our hearts, may she enjoy her time now with God and her loving husband in heaven.
