Alice was a source of help and friendship when my husband Joe and I moved to Greenleaf St. in 1979. My first job was teaching at St. John's Lutheran school, in Orange, and I owe that opportunity to Alice as well. I loved Alice's wit and humor, and no one could make a better hot potato salad. The good times we shared will always be remembered by me, and I send my love and condolences to the entire family. Good that I am going to heaven, too, as I am sure Alice and I will have things to catch up on! God bless you all.
