Alice Sinclair Obituary

Sinclair, Alice Jeanette, 81, surrounded by her loving family, entered Heaven on September 6, 2007. Alice was born September 17, 1925 in Contra Costa County, CA., the last of eight children. The family soon moved to Orange, CA., where Alice was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church. Alice completed grades one through five at St. John's School before the family moved to Baldwin Park, CA. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Orange, CA. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made in her name to Lutheran Bible Translators. Address. 303 N. Lake Street P.O. Box 2050 Aurora, IL 60507 (800) 532-4253

Alice was a source of help and friendship when my husband Joe and I moved to Greenleaf St. in 1979. My first job was teaching at St. John's Lutheran school, in Orange, and I owe that opportunity to Alice as well. I loved Alice's wit and humor, and no one could make a better hot potato salad. The good times we shared will always be remembered by me, and I send my love and condolences to the entire family. Good that I am going to heaven, too, as I am sure Alice and I will have things to catch up on! God bless you all.
