KAREN KUNZE Obituary

Kunze, Karen "Kay"

April 26 1949 - January 4 2015

She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Hayes; husband, Don Kunze; daughter, Amy Sciarra; and granddaughter, Audrey Sciarra.

San Clemente resident for 40 years, taught original mommy & me classes with Capistrano School district and city, worked at BeefCutter Restaurant, Tuesday Mornings, and manager for Big Helyns. Became an AA member and sponsor for several.

Service is at San Clemente Presbyterian Church, Saturday January 10 from 2pm - 3pm.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Glad I was able to meet and see Kay whenever I would visit my sister Susan in San Clemente. A real "people person" and always very friendly. My thoughts and prayers are with Kay and her family.

I worked at mommy and me as an aide for 21 years and although I never worked with Kay, I would see her at different meetings and events and loved talking with her. We had a lot of laughs and I will remember her raspy voice and her spunk. May she rest in peace.......Praying for the family.......God Bless, Chris Horvath
