Manuel (Manny) T. Padilla Manuel (Manny) T. Padilla (91) died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his home in Santa Ana, California, surrounded by his loved ones. Manny is survived by his wife, Betty, of 66 years; children Tom (Sue) Padilla, David Padilla, Kevin (Lorraine) Padilla, and Elisa (Jeff) Willis; grandchildren Evan (Calli) Padilla and Nicole (Chris) Saveanu; and great-grandchildren William and Henry Padilla, and Thomas Saveanu, his sister Teresa (Howard) and brother Abel. Manny earned both a Bachelor's in History and Government and a Law Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He went on to a storied, 39-year career with State Farm Insurance, retiring as an award-winning Agency Director. His very active retirement included civic and community leadership in organizations including the OC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic 100, and the March of Dimes. He and Betty traveled globally, fitting in rounds of golf when possible! Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 21st at 10:00 am, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orange (530 S.
