PHILIP SALVATORE Obituary
Born in New Rochelle, New York, he attended Blessed Sacrament Schools and Iona College. In addition to his service in the Navy, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 37 years. He was a true gentleman who loved his family and had a great love of golf and baseball. Phil is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila; daughter, Karen; sisters, Theresa (Andre) Faup of Harrison, NY, and Anne (Bob) Scaffidi of Placentia, CA; and 7 nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever. Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phil's name to the ALS Association, Orange County Chapter, 1232 Village Way, Suite A, Santa Ana, CA 92705, or MDA Association, 5836 Corporate Avenue, #110 Cypress CA 90630.
