Gilson, A. A memorial celebration of life for A. Charlie Gilson, 77, Ormond Beach, who passed away on February 5th, 2016, is being held on Saturday February 27th, 2016 at 6:30pm in the chapel of Pinello Funeral Home, 1036 Derbyshire Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32117, with Father Bill Zamborsky officiating. Mr. Gilson was born in Manhattan, NY and lived in Ormond Beach for a year after moving from Longwood, FL. He was a retired sheet metal foreman, attended the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and he enjoyed boating, the beach, and most of all, spending time with his friends and family. Mr. Gilson is predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Elaine Gilson, and his brother, Joey. Left to cherish is memory is his daughter, Suzette Bertalli of Ormond Beach, FL; his son, Eric C. Gilson of Brandon, FL; his brother, Mathew Gilson of Suffern, NY, and Leo Gilson of Queensbury, NY.; his sister Hadie Erhardt (Bruce) of Deland, FL.; and two grandchildren, Chad and Courtney Bertalli. Services entrusted to Pinello Funeral Home, Daytona.
