ANITA M. SAMUELSON

Anita M. Samuelson, 88, of Lake Villa, died Feb. 15 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
She was born in Chicago on March 31, 1921, the daughter of the late Claire and Otto Wegner.
She was a resident of Lake villa since 1951, moving there from Chicago. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4308 Lake Villa. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Barbara) Samuelson of Lake Villa, William Samuelson of Wisconsin and Barbara Secketa of Lake Villa; her grandchildren, Gail, Robin, Carrie, Kimberly, Kathryn, Scott and Nick; 16 great-grandchildren; her brother, William (Rose) Wegner of Buffalo Grove; and many, many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her grandson, Jason; and her sisters, Beatrice, Marie, Ruth and Myrtle.
Visitation was Feb.17 at Ringa Funeral Home in Lake Villa.
Private family burial took place at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee.
