I think of Brenda often and every time I can’t believe that she’s gone. I was “just” a client and not all that regular but she made an impact on me. So kind and generous. I wish I had known her better. You all have my heartfelt wishes as you remember her today. Love to all, Glenda Wright

I am now just reading of Brenda's passing. She joins a group of Maitland friends in heaven, and she will be missed by many. Brenda was a very sweet person, a dear friend of my late husband, and I am very sad to hear of her leaving us way too soon. My sympathy to her family, God bless.

My husband (Doug Alford) and I are very saddened to hear of the passing of Brenda McDowell. We both went to Dommerich Elementary, MJHS and WPHS with her. I lived near her when I lived on Deloraine Trail and we often got together. We remember her sweetness, and very pleasant personality. She had such warmth in her smile and her heart. Our sincere condolences to her family. We will always remember what a precious person she was and she will surely be missed.

Brenda was my cousin. I will always remember her open faced simile. She could light up a room and did that often at our family reunions every year. God just gained a new angel. Larry Drake

My heart is filled with sadness of this news. We were such good friends in grade school through high school. After graduation we became roomies. So many fond memories of such an amazing spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family and loved ones. Much love my friend!

Such sad news. Brenda and I were best friends growing up in Maitland. She had a genuine, kind heart. Many memories...kickball with the triplets, bike rides to the 7-11, first boyfriends, sleepovers, drivers licenses,on and on. Prayers and peace to her family. (PKA Susan Winckelmann)

Oh no! I loved Brenda since I met her which was early early early at Dommerich (1st grade?) and then all the way through Maitland Jr. High and Winter Park. I'm so sorry to hear she's gone and will pray for all of her family that God is revealed to you in a powerful way through this loss. (pka Sally Chestnut)

I had the oportunity of being a friend and client of such a gifted " healer" Brenda Kay made all the aches and pains go away. In addition she is a great teacher I wish i could have helped her in return. Heaven is blessed to have her

I had the opportunity to take her class several times. She was a kind and gifted yoga teacher. I have very fond memories of her teaching and all that she gave to her students.
