I started grooming Mrs. Silas's little dog, Bo, 4 yrs. ago. In that time, she became a friend, as well as a client. I looked forward to our long talks every 6 weeks. Being an animal lover, I could see, by the way she adored Bo, that she was a wonderful, loving person who will be greatly missed.

Carolyn Silas and her sister, Grace Exline, were two of the most beautiful people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. Words cannot express the way they have enriched out lives. Our hearts are with the family.

I started working for Orange County Social Services in 1987 and Carolyn Silas was so very helpful to me. She taught me everything I know about Social Security and the accompanying medical programs. She was a warm, intelligent, patient and direct woman. I have always thought so well of her and will never forget her and the help she gave me. Donna Wissman
