Read MoreI started grooming Mrs. Silas's little dog, Bo, 4 yrs. ago. In that time, she became a friend, as well as a client. I looked forward to our long talks every 6 weeks. Being an animal lover, I could see, by the way she adored Bo, that she was a wonderful, loving person who will be greatly missed.

I started working for Orange County Social Services in 1987 and Carolyn Silas was so very helpful to me. She taught me everything I know about Social Security and the accompanying medical programs. She was a warm, intelligent, patient and direct woman. I have always thought so well of her and will never forget her and the help she gave me. Donna Wissman
