Charlene Turnipseed Obituary

TURNIPSEED, CHARLENE, 63, of Orlando, FL, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005. She was born to the late Charles H. and Edna H. Thomason on February 21, 1941 in Cullman, AL. She grew up in Memphis, TN and retired to Orlando, FL with her husband in 1991 after living in Middletown, OH for nine years. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Rae; and her brother, Charles T. Thomason. Charlene is survived by her husband, Elton Turnipseed of Orlando, FL; her son and daughter-in- law, Brian and Susan Butler of Columbus, OH; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Andy Schumacher of Trenton, OH; brother and sister-in-law, John and Pat Thomason of Memphis, TN; sister-in-law, Barbara Thomason; and niece, Arian Parker, both of Memphis, TN; six granddaughters. She is also survived by two stepdaughters, Sarah Sabec of CA and Lois Snell of OR; two stepsons, Clark Turnipseed of FL and Eric Turnipseed of MN; four step- grandchildren. Visitation will be held between 6PM-8PM on Tuesday, February 8, at Woodlawn Carey-Hand Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL. Funeral services will be 11AM Wednesday, February 9, at St. Luke's Methodist Church, 4851 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando, FL followed by a memorial service on Friday, February 11, in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119.
