Dear Joan, Rob, Nick, and Leslie,
I just learned of Charlie's death after seeing Sally Zelnio a few days ago. I am so shocked. We grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football 7 days a week. What a great childhood we had in Kettering, Ohio. He was one of those rare individuals with many talents and interests. His pitching and playing the tuba for the FWHS band come to mind. And all those projects in which he showed so much creativity.
I regret never arranging a visit because as we can see, life is too short.

With heartfelt condolences,

Denis Hentrich

My condolences to the Pelton family. I grew up with Charlie and went to school with him in Kettering, Ohio. We were next door neighbors. I remember going wth his parents to Charlie's baseball games and watching him pitch. We spent countless hours playing football and croquet in his
backyard. Charlie will be surely missed.

Dear Pelton Family,

We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Charlie. He was such a kind man with a good heart and love of life. I will never forget how he flew in just for a few hours when Grandpa died because he wanted to be there. Very few people would travel such great lengths to show his love of another person. We hope you are able to love and support one another during this most difficult time.

It was such a shock, our sincere condolences to Joan and the Pelton family. I worked for Charlie for many years and he was always great to work for, he was always profession and made work fun! He fished and I dove, so we’d compare notes from above and below the surface. We will miss him. Our sympathies, Don and Sherry Moore

I just learned from across the world of losing my "Uncle Charlie". He always enjoyed our frequent family dinners at the lake with a happy smile and a big heart. Even during those difficult times he kept us smiling. I remember so well running away from a hurricane with a young triplets and he was there welcoming our big family into his home and cutting the tension with his humor. He will be missed by so many. All my love goes out to Aunt Joanie and the kids.
