Chhaganlal N. Vyas

VYAS, CHHAGANLAL N., 100, formerly of Uganda and London, England, died Friday, September 16, 2005 at his home in Orlando, FL. He was born in India and went to Uganda at young age of 19. He became a very successful businessman there. In 1972 he moved to London, England and lived there for 23 years. He resided in Orlando since 1994. He was a leader of the Indian community of Central Florida. His family is actively involved with the community works of local Indian community. Just last week his family, friends and well wishers threw a large 100th party for him. He is survived by his sons, Bhogilal Vyas, Bhailal Vyas, Shashi Vyas, Anil Vyas, Suree Vyas, Andy Vyas and Ashok Vyas; daughters, Sharda Pandya, Rasila Kapadia, Nilam Dave and Dharmista Dave; daughters-in-law, Jayshree Vyas, Naina Vyas, Sudha Vyas, Grabrielle Vyas, Dr. Zaby Vyas, Dr. Nayana Vyas and Nita Vyas. Funeral will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha at 2PM on Sunday 18, 2005, September 2005.
