Christy Conner Obituary

Christy G. Conner, 61, of Longwood passed away February 28. Her father and her best friend were present and able to say their final good byes to her. Christy was a lifelong resident of Florida and graduated from Oviedo High School. She faced life on her own terms. She had strong beliefs and was not one to back down when she believed she was right. She loved every dog she ever had with a passion and found delight in their antics. Christy loved good food and good wine, especially a prime rib. She got her pilots license, enjoyed going to the casinos occasionally and she loved a good book in her quiet time. She was talented at doing various crafts and made some beautiful pottery and wonderful fresh soap. Christy was employed by Winn Dixie for most of her years since attending high school. Christy was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Conner, and her sister, Cindy Conner. She will be missed by her father, Lynn Conner, her twin brother, Craig Conner, her stepmom, Kitty Conner, her sister-in-law, Yenni Conner, and her niece, Valentina Conner, whom she loved deeply, and numerous cousins and friends. She will also be missed by her lifelong friends, Lisa and Phil Hart, who were more like family.
