Daniel LeFevre Obituary

Dan's adventurous life came to an end on 9 July 2021 and he has now embarked on a new adventure to a place from which no traveler has ever returned. A lifelong Winter Park resident, he was proud of being a patriot and having served in the military of his country in the 1940's. Unit, Corps, God, Country. Being a lawyer, rancher, bulldozer operator and many other activities taught him the value of life and giving.

Carrying on are his son Dan, his grandchildren, Meredith and Daniel, great-granddaughter Violet and his niece Peggy. There will be no service or memorial.

I did not know Mr. LeFevre personally, but I know my parents were extremely grateful for him as he handled my adoption.

I guess I did something wrong and my message was cut short. I worked for Mr LeFevre starting at age 27. I worked for him for around 5 or so years. The days of Mary-Lou and George who lived in the little attached house in front. I have so many stories of my time there. Dan taught me so much about work ethics, life and caring about people. Those were the days of typing wills with carbon paper. I wasn´t allowed to make a mistake. I´m so sad tonight. I see there´s no service or memorial. I pray he´s laid to rest by his mom at Palm Cemetery in WP. I was there for that service. Mr. L recited the Lords Prayer and we all went to his house for lunch. He will remain in my heart. God bless his soul. My condolences to his family. Your dad was one of a kind!

I didn´t have the opportunity to finish my message. Tonight has brought me to tears. I worked for Mr .LeFevre for many years. Starting at a young age of 25. He taught me work ethics. I have so many stories. Especially when George lived in the front house. He helped me thru my husbands untimely death. I´m so sad to hear there will be no memorial. But I have to believe in my heart he will be placed by his mom at Palm Cemetery in WP. I was there for that sweet memorial with Dan reciting the Lords Prayer. I´m just so sad tonight. My last visit was 2 years ago when I brought him peppermints and took him to lunch at Dubsdread. God bless his soul. He was and will always remain in my heart.

I´m so sadden of this news. While I kept trying to reach out ... I never heard anything but he was no longer accepting visitors. For some reason tonight... I googled his name and found out that he had passed. I worked for Mr. Le

A great man, a great friend for almost 50 years who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our memories of shared adventures and travels will be some comfort.

At heart he was a true southern gentleman and contributed a great deal to his fellow man, especially a good sense of humor.
