I cared for Dr. Ayers at a senior living facility and I really enjoyed being around him. He is/was a very humble, sweet and respectful gentleman. I know I was supposed to be the highlight of my resident's day when I came to work but Dr. Ayers was truly the highlight of my day. I couldn't wait to come to work to see and talk to him. No words can explain how loving he was.

I have the best memories of working with Dr Ayers and his staff of Betty, Cynthia, Marge and Lisa. Betty and I were his nurses and I remember how kind and respectful he was to all his female patients. I was impressed with his style from the first day I worked with him. I respected him and enjoyed his generous social events especially on holidays. I remember one day he came in the office after having hit a hole in one on the golf course. None of us were golfers and I think our reaction was pretty disappointing to him that day!! He was a great teacher and I gained such insight and knowledge from him professionally that I kept working into my late 60’s, just as I think he would have done (in good health). He loved his children and always talked about them in the office, they were just babies when I was there, saying his swanky new Porsche was going to be saved for his son! I know his impact in the lives he touched will be remembered by his devoted patients and without a doubt by this humble nurse and friend. May he find everlasting peace and love forever.

My 6 years of working with Dr Ayers were a joy. I LOVED working in his Lakemont Ave office with Betty, Marge, Cynthia and Lisa as our office mgr. Dr Ayers talked about saving his new Porsche for his sons back then. He had the best patient relationships and kindness with everyone in the office. I hated leaving due to a move, and have always cherished those wonderful years in his practice. He was a special man who would occasionally try to impress his all -female -non -golfing staff with a great golf story which would make our eyes roll! I will never forget him and the years I grew professionally in his office. He will remain in my heart always. My condolences are giant hugs to the family of a wonderful man.

I´ll never forget Dr. Ayers. I went into labor on a Sunday in September of 1990 and my doctor was away. Dr. Ayers came by the hospital around noon just to introduce himself and to tell me he´d be back later when it was time for my daughter to be born, which ended up being shortly after 5:00 pm. He had his young son with him on this early Sunday afternoon. I was impressed with that. He made me feel so comfortable in the absence of Dr. Guarneri. I´ll never forget him. We had a very smooth delivery of our baby girl.
