Based on his reputation and name recognition throughout the Central Florida sanitation industry he was frequently called upon for his knowledge and he continued to work even into his 'retirement'. He shared his expertise with industry professionals as well as young upstarts into the business. Digger had a tremendous sense of humor. He was a dedicated sports fan. He especially enjoyed NASCAR and many would remember him listening to the races broadcast on a transistor radio in the garage on a Sunday afternoon as he cheered for his two favorite drivers, Richard Petty and David Pearson. Daddy will be remembered by his children for his love, quick wit, integrity, generous nature and unquestionable support. Dad's fun loving and easy going personality was complimented by Mom's attention to detail and order. As Dad would say, 'Go ask the Boss'. As lifelong mates, even though they were in declining health, we got to be kids again as we watched them enjoy their puppy, Bailey. We know you are happy to be back together again after a brief separation. Thank you for setting us on the right course in life. We love you Mom and Dad.
