Doreen Mavis Weese

1927 - 2018

IN LOVING MEMORY OF December 29, 1927 - April 18, 2018 Doreen has left this plane at 90 years old to join her ever-loving husband, Richard, in the afterlife. She was a wife, mother, nana, great nana, and aunt. The youngest sibling of 11 brothers and 1 sister, she was born Doreen Mavis Chalmers to her parents, Thomas and Margaret Chalmers, in Leicester, England, where she met her one and only life-long love, Richard Davis Weese, who was stationed there with the Army during WW II. Nine years later he would bring her to this country to become his bride of 61 years. It was love at first sight for them both, and since his passing in 2013, she has been a lost soul, longing to be with her love, savior and protector again. Doreen didn't lead a conventional life, and though her early career was mostly in accounting, her real love was acting, which she got a taste for when they were stationed in Italy. It would be many years later when she continued in this vain, and once she did she soared. From stage, to print, to commercials, to TV shows, to movies, she accomplished all into her late 70's when she retired. A beautiful and brilliant woman right up to her passing, she is survived by her three children, daughter Deborah Brown (Roy), son Richard Weese (Cindy), and daughter Kimberley Shetrone. Also surviving her are five grandchildren, Heather (Dan), Benjamin (Nicole), Drew, Sara (Jason), Michael, and five great grandchildren, Genevieve, Lucas, Mason, Ellie, and Quinn. She also leaves behind her beloved rescue dog, Maggie, which she rescued to take care of and have something to love after Richard's passing. Her priority in life was her husband, her children, and her pets. Her passing will leave a void for her survivors as she was the stitching to the family fabric, holding it all together. MOM - we will always love and miss you greatly along with DAD, but our minds are eased knowing you are exactly where you want to be - with your forever love ... and Mom, you are never wrong xoxoxo.
