capps, edith 86 yr, Windermere, Mothers Day '14. Born in Gainesboro TN to Lattie B and Effie Mae Loftis Gentry. She attended business college in Nashville and worked for the state. Married James Capps Dec 31, '51. They soon settled in Hollywood, FL and then Orlando in '68. Jim preceded her in death March '13. A proud homemaker, world traveler, and gardener in her "Garden of Edith". She ministered with calls, cards, visits, home-cooked meals specializing on the elderly and shut-ins. In spite of many ailments in recent years Edith will be remembered always for her pleasant personality and unwavering faith in God. Survivors include their 2 daughters Terri Capps Schlundt [Al F], Montgomery AL, and Debra Capps Julian, Dr Phillips, 4 grandsons Walker, Walden, Westley Schlundt, Christopher Julian, and great granddaughter Edith Schlundt. Visitation 12:30 at church of Christ 3940 S Bumby Ave, Orlando, Sat. May 17, '14 with 1:30 service there. Graveside service 3:15 Woodlawn Memorial, Gotha FL.
