Eugene Williams Obituary

Eugene E. Williams, 76, of Mount Solon, VA & Sanford, FL, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Gene was a graduate of Seminole High School where he was an all-around athlete. He graduated from Florida State University and received his Master's from University of Central Florida. He served his country in the Marine Corp. He retired from Seminole County Public School after 40 years of service in 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Whitmore Williams; four children, Matthew Williams (Jessica), Amy Reynolds, Meda Montgomery (Rusty), and Laura McGlynn (Stephen); sister, Janice Tedrow (Gene); brother-in-law, Jerry Whitmore (Pam); and ten grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, US Navy SEAL Jonathan Whitmore Williams.

A memorial service will be held on May 10, 2:00 PM at St. Michael's United Church of Christ, Bridgewater, VA with Rev. Hollis Dodge officiating.
