I stared at this page with a loss for words. Frank was a GREAT man. He was a true friend to my father, Bob and for that I will be forever grateful. My nana was good friends and neighbor of Lucy Bracco and I remember spending many days just visiting with them and Frank would stop in always checking on his mom and dad. Frank, you will be so missed. May you rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to all on this extremely sad time in your lives as you grieve the loss of one of the finest individuals I've had the privilege of knowing. Most people are content with being average throughout their lives, but Frank was not like most people. He was so much more. He helped and inspired so many of us to be the best that we could be, and we are all better human beings because of him.
He will be remembered and deeply missed by all!
Rest in Peace, Frank.

Shocked and saddened. I first met Frank when I arrived in Florida on Thanksgiving day 1982. With then knee-high Charles and Tracey on each side of him in "Fuzzy Jon's" driveway. Two months later I was working for him and two months ago we golfed with his other son Anthony. Frank was larger than life with an even bigger heart ready to help anyone in need.
As a former employee, life long student, and forever friend...I will miss him greatly.

"Mensch" is a Yiddish word meaning "a person of integrity and honor." It also describes the kind of person my dear friend Frank was. As author Leo Rosten said, Being a mensch' is not at all related to success, wealth or social status. A mensch does what is right because it is right towards family, towards strangers, at home and in public. That takes courage. It takes strength of will. That was Frank Bracco.
Wikipedia says the term is used as a high compliment, implying the rarity and value of that individual's qualities. And so it was with Frank. His honesty, character, consideration and respect gave him the right to be called a mensch. We are all richer for having had Frank in our lives and I will miss him in mine. But this mensch will live on in our hearts and through his children and grandchildren.

Sherill, Charles, Tracey, and Anthony, we are keeping all of you in our prayers and asking God to give you strength and courage at this time. We are in complete disbelief and our hearts are saddened. First thing that came to mind when we heard the news about Frank was that there is no one else we know who made the best use of his time on earth to LOVE his family, LOVE his friends, SERVE and HELP others, and LIVE life! That is Frank to us in a nutshell and inspires all of us to do the same.
Family was always first to Frank and may you cherish the memories and keep them alive by sharing them with the beautiful grandchildren. Feel his presence at your side as he will strengthen each of you until one day you are all reunited. You can bet he will have many stories to tell of how he has been living and loving in heaven. May you rest in peace, dear friend.

This sad and sudden news is such a great loss to so many. Frank lived surrounded by a family who have cherished his singularly caring, guiding, embracing, leadbyexample extraordinary presence. Maintaining that same insistence on living a life of integrity, Frank earned an exemplary reputation, considered by his peers as a master of the profession and as an honorable business owner by his employees as well as his customers, many of whom were leaders of his wide community.
With a smile, a handshake, or a hug (frequently all delivered simultaneously!)Frank freely shared his vast personality with those who surrounded him. That life being well lived was a constantly welcomed addition to any gatheringplanned or spontaneous, large or small, for business or pleasure.
All who knew him will mourn Frank, but that Bracco intellect, inspiration, and integrity will continue to thrive trough the lives of those whom he loved most: Sherril, Charles, Tracey and Anthony.
