JACKSON SPEIGHT Obituary

SPEIGHT, JACKSON DOW, son of Amory Clark Speight Jr. and Janie Mae Speight, passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, in Orlando. Jackson was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was born and grew up in Unadilla, GA, and attended Emory University finishing with a degree in pre-med biology. He was an officer and pilot in the United States Air Force flying F-4's in Vietnam and accomplishing many missions. After being honorably discharged from the USAF, he worked for Westinghouse and Lockheed Martin applying his strengths in working with people building a successful career in international defense marketing. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rose Speight; his son, Amory Dax Speight; daughter, Lauren Dow Allen; son-in-law, Thomas Allen Jr.; grandson, Cyrus Jackson Thomas Allen; brother, Roy Speight and many beloved nieces and nephews. He will be missed immensely by
everyone that knew him.

Rose, I am so very sorry to hear about Jack's passing. I remember all of good times back in Unadilla. Sandy Greer sent me an email and I wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
