I cried reading the notice of your fathers death, but they were tears of joy that such a man was allowed to spend 85 years here on this earth with the ones that loved and knew him. I wasn't given the honor of knowing this great man, but it touched my heart deeply just reading of his life and accompliments. To have eight sons and have every single one be Eagle Scouts is unbeliveable! To have those same 8 young men go to college and be professional men, along with their only sister is saying more than words can say for not only your father but also your mother. I would loved to have known them and all of you. Not knowing any of you I am still very proud.

May God be with all of you at your time of lost.

Dear Geoff: I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Although I did not know him well, when I used to visit him at the Atrium with my sheltie, Sophie (we were a pet therapy team for a couple of years) he always had a smile and a kind word for us. He would not always recognize me, but he remembered Sophie by name. He was a sweet man. My prayers are with you and your family.

Rob, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your father. I really got to know him when I worked in my father's store over 28 years ago. He would come in and always joke with me and had a great sense of humor. Whenever I saw him over the years, he always had a smile and kind words to say. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mary Lynn and your entire family. Love, Mary S. DeSalvo
