God shined through this wonderful Christian man through his actions. He was so kind to pick me up when I was an 8 year old little girl walking to church by myself. He would ask to take me along with his own children to the First Baptist Church Downtown. Although I ended up becoming Catholic and one day after Mass I decided to go see if I would still recognize him so many years later so I could let him know that I still remembered his kindness that he showed me back then. God had him still greeting people at the front doors so I shook his hand and explained how much his thoughtfulness was remember and appreciated so many years later. Iam so glad that God allowed me that opportunity. I know Jesus entered my heart back then although I wasn't allowed to accept Baptism due to my parents decision. They thought it that I should wait until I could decide for myself when I was older. But I knew that I gave my entire heart to Jesus the day I walked down in front from the balcony that morning. I was not being rebellious in any way, just I knew God was bigger and I had a relationship with him and I knew he knew the desires of my heart and I had faith that some way I would get to accept him. When I met my husband that was his question to me, will you raise our children Catholic? I was clueless about this faith but I knew that I wanted a faith filled man that believed in God and I knew that I wanted to worship God all together as a family! We have been married over 50 years and God is still first in both of our lives and all Glory belongs to God for all of our blessings. God bless the entire Stanton family forevermore.
because of his kindness and all the adults at Camp Joy, that volunteered for the youth. I'm old now but still remember all the love those families shared with me, much appreciated forever.

I also would like to express my sympathy to Ruth and the whole family. I will fondly remember Jim as a man who made everyone around him smile. He seemed to embrace the fun side of life; something we can all learn from.

My condolences to Ruth and the family. I still have fond memories of the trip my brother and I took many years ago and the wonderful "southern hospitality" that Ruth and Jim extended to us.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Royce (we knew him by his middle name). He was my favorite uncle. When the other aunts and uncles were busy with adult concerns, he was paying attention to the kids, always kidding, joking, and teasing my brothers and me (and our other cousins). We also shared a love of aviation. He will be missed. My warmest condolences to Aunt Ruthie, Judy, John, Barry, and the rest of the family.
