Janet Hiland Obituary

Hiland, Janet Jan70, passed away peacefully Saturday, December, 14th. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 28, 1943, to the late Kelsay and Ruth McWhorter. She moved to Maitland, Fl in 1954 where she graduated from Edgewater High School. She married the love of her life Jon Hiland on November 28, 1964 and raised their family in Winter Park. She spent the past 20 years in Amelia Island. Jan was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who lived life to the fullest. Jan is survived by her husband Jon, two children; Jon Hiland II and Alicia (Bill) Walker, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday January 4th at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Amelia Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Northeast Florida Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Please share her life story at www.oxleyheard.com.
