To the Family and Friends of Jerald Rosen:

It’s taken me sometime to digest the loss of my friend Jerry. I have been devastated since learning of his passing. It has impacted me in ways many wouldn’t understand.

Jerry was a PRINCE of a man, a real GENTLEMAN, a FAMILY man and a LEADER who was the envy of all who spent time with him. His business acumen was impeccable. Truly he was a businessman and friend that I admired and respected.

Personally, I know that he will be missed…. especially by his family who he cherished. But, I also know that I will miss him immensely. I thank God for permitting us to share our special times together and for having the privilege to have known and worked with him.

Dear Rosen family. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Rosen's passing. I remember very clearly my dads love for Jerry as childhood friends and their times at Miami High. Dad died two years ago and I know that he and Mr Rosen are now sharing some old times together. Mr Rosen was always so nice to my brother and I when we were little kids. He was my dad's cpa for well over 30 years, but most importantly his friend for life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and on behalf of the Papy family please know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. God bless.

Dear Vivian and Richard, My condolences on the passing of such a nice man. I fondly remember Mr. Rosen and his kindness to all of us everytime we came over to the house. I also remember my dad meeting Jerry and Al when I was a young boy as my dad loved the Cleveland Indians and he always shared that with Jerry. I will always remember him I know you all will as well

EARL SEDLIK

As Al Rosen's brother, Jerald was a hero to me. My dad, Nat Sedlik, befriended Jerald when Nat was a salesman at Miami's Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Jerald suggested that, if I senT a letter to Al Rosen, he would send back an autographed photo card. As an 11-year-old baseball fanatic, I organized a group project to get photos of lots of players and - it worked. Thanks to Jerald, I collected over 80 such cards - almost all of the 1954 Cleveland Indians and many more. Al RoseN was the first and most special in my collection. Later on at Miami High, I won a trophy for Most Outstanding Junior Boy and Al Rosen's name was already on the trophy. My Dad and I shared the glory knowing that Jerald was the common connection. I honor Jerald on behalf of Nat and Earl Sedlik. Miami High had very few Jewish athletes in those days. To be on the same trophy as Al Rosen is an honor I've always treasured, and I thank Jerald (and Al)for making it all that much more meaningful. Jerald's encouragement had a major impact on my life.
