Jerry Keith Obituary

Jerry Keith died unexpectedly Friday July 23, 2021 in Sanford, North Carolina. Jerry was born December 25, 1963 in Orlando, Fl. He was married to Karen Keith on April 19, 1986 and have shared their life until they were separated at his death July 23, 2021. Jerry preceded his parents in death; mother Patti Smith, father Jerry C. Keith and step- mother Sherry Keith. Survived by his wife Karen; sons Christopher, Michael (Laura), Ryan (Danielle) and granddaughter Wylie Ann. He is survived by his brother Shawn and sisters-in-law Michelle, Kathy (Mark), brothers-in-law Ken (Holly), Kevin (Lacey) and a host of other loving family members. Jerry spent 30 years of his life devoted to others as a Fireman, Lieutenant and District Chief for the Orlando Fire Department. After Jerry's retirement, he enjoyed working with Tompkins Robotics and Patriot Defense. Jerry's passion in life beyond spending time with his family was hunting and fishing with his sons and friends. Everyone enjoyed his sense of humor and love of laughter. He taught his family the meaning of generosity and helping others by performing random acts of kindness to strangers, friends and family. His family and friends will miss him tremendously. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to please perform a random act of kindness or make a donation to the American Cancer Society. A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Orlando-Henry Chapel, on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 10AM until time of funeral service at 11AM. Interment will take place at Christmas Cemetery, Christmas, Florida. Please visit our online guestbook.
