I first met John when I was around 9 years old. Thats when his father married my mother. He was a good brother and even though I had not seen him in awhile he was in my thoughts. I was back home in Parkersbugh on June 7th. I even ask my family if they had heard from him. My prayers are with his family.

I had only just met John and Wendy when we went on the charity motorcycle ride that dreadful day. They seemed to be a wonderful couple. We were chatting about how much fun we were having riding our bikes and for such a great cause. My sympathy goes out to the families and may God be with you always.

My heart is so saddened of the loss of John D. Ash. I've known John over 35yrs. we've traveled many roads together we sold a lot of auctions together & we bought & sold cars together. John let me apprentice under him when I graduated from auctioneer school in 1990. Now I own & operate my own auto auction in Ripley, WV thanks to the helpful hand & guidance of John. In life you have very few true friends, John was true. I will miss him so much. God Bless John & his wife Wendy.

I would like to offer my sympathy to the Ash family. My son lives near where the accident happened and we saw the scene. I will never go by that corner without thinking of the souls that were lost that Sunday and pray for the ones left behind. We never know what is in store for us each day, so we must live it to the fullest. May God be with you all during this time.
