Many years ago you cast a young girl as Gretel in Hansel & Gretel. You instilled a love for theater that day that continues until now. When I faltered, you encouraged me and told me that it would be a crime if I didn't use my talents. Today I manage a theater up here in Virginia. You taught me so very, very much and I will never forget you.

I am saddened to read of Brother John's passing. I knew him in Orlando at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, as a holy man of God and as an artist. I am privileged to have a print of his Madonna drawing. We visited in Ocala when I did outdoor art shows there. Saw him last about a year ago at Grace Church. He lived a good life that touched many people. We are all better for having known him.
