Joe was the very best of friends of David´s and mine for over twenty five years! We celebrated almost every holiday together, especially after he met sweet Joan. They truly loved each other and we are so happy he found her. He is missed in more ways and can be counted. May God bless this sweet man!!!

As so many who knew Joe knew he loved to golf, meet his friends at the monthly Retiree Quality Program luncheons at TGIFs and yearly Management Club Golf Weekends. My favorite memory was when Joe, Fred and I were in Seattle at the same time. I lived there once so we hit all the cool places: Pike Street Market, Ivars Anchors of Claims and visited Lake Union where Sleepless in Seattle was filmed in part.
Yes, we cannot think of Joe without seeing that "Twinkle" in his eye. A rare gift for only special people. You will be remembered Joe, and greatly, profoundly missed.

Joe and I crossed paths in the 60s at The Martin Company. Both of Joe's parents also worked there.
The are words to a song that fit Joe to a "tee", "I did it my way". Who else would have a motor cycle, boat, truck, and Corvette. One day he had a mishap on his motor cycle. What he doing? Visiting his parents grave site. Family was very important to him. He did many things with his parents and step-daughter. He also made frequent trips to see his Sister and Nephews in Augusta. Just like what was said at the service, "Joe was a good man" and he will be missed.

I was catching up on the news having been away for a week and stumbled across the obituary for Joe. I became sad upon hearing the news. Joe was my boss and mentor for many years at Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin and he was also our friend. When I married I had invited Joe to the wedding, I didn't expect him to show but he did and brought flowers for my wife. On top of that, he caught the garter belt! He was a great person and I will cherish the days I had spent with him. For his family, please note that my wife and I will keep you in our prayers. May God Bless you all. I am certain Joe is already teeing it up. Lastly, we would very much like to attend the celebration of life for Joe.

So so saddened to hear of Joe´s death. Greatly enjoyed our golfing moments together. Four of us played weekly for several years. Fun to be with but competitive. A favorite remark at least once during 18 holes was "Attaboy girl". He´s a true patriot and fine Christian. RIP Joe.

Joe was a dear and cherished friend of mine and a golfing buddy of my deceased husband, Donald J. Parrish. He was loved by all of us. We shared a metaphor about riding life's train until all of us departed the train one by one. It was a sad day when Joe got off the train and left some of us remaining on the train until our last day comes. Wonderful memories will sustain us as we ride without him. God bless him until we meet again.

Joe was part of our Tuesday golf group, rain or shine, hot or cold, he was there ready to go. He would rumble in driving his old truck, gear up, partner up and off we go. Another round for the book he would say. He provided humor and so much more to the round. Joe and I are Navy veterans that served around the same time period and so many service "stories" were shared with the group at the 19th hole.
Joe was a good man and friend, he will truly be missed but always remembered by all of us.

I met Joe in 1992. We were introduced by long time friends (of both of us)and Joe's co-workers Clare and Fred Hasler. We shared many fun and happy times together for several years. He was more than just a friend. He was loyal and supportive even to this day. He had the most radiant smile , a twinkle in his eyes and wonderful sense of humor. To me, he was "The Silver Fox" and we used to laugh about that name given to him because his hair was like silver. I will miss our routine chats and emails. He was among the best.

When Joe was helping us get a new chair through our guest bedroom doorway and Joannie and me had to suggest using a better angle after Joe was wearing himself out turning it in different directions. Was so funny!
