Abbott, Lawrence Lawrence E. Abbott, Age 80, of Eustis, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec 20th. He was born in Frankfort, MI on Dec 24th, 1933. He graduated in 1955 from Central Michigan University followed by a commission in the army as a 1st Lieutenant. He retired from Brown & Brown Insurance 1996 and moved to Eustis where he was a very active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. He was an active member of the Rotary International, 32nd Degree Free Mason and a Noble of the Bahia Shriners of Orlando, FL and never passed up a chance at a round of golf with seven holes-in-one to his record. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor of 52 years and his brother Richard of Flint. MI. Survived by his sisters Mary Jane Franklin of Frankfort, MI and Margaret Bilsky of Grand Rapids, MI, his daughter Cyndi of Eustis, FL, son Richard of Camden, SC, daughter-in-law Mary and, grandchildren, Ellie, Will & Tate. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at The First Presbyterian Church of Eustis with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Umatilla Cemetery Annex. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memorial Garden at The First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, FL.
