Dear Tom and Loraine,

I want you both to know that you and your family have been in our thoughts and prayers all along this awful road you've had to travel. Now Lissa has found her way home and although we all miss her terribly, we know that is selfish of us. She is happy and free now and will always be young and beautiful. I personally feel alot better knowing that she is up there on our side, looking after all those she loved and who loved her. You all had such a special relationship. To see all of those pictures was a wonderful reminder of your special bond and close family ties. May god bless you and your family now and forever. Love Debbie and Glenn Victor Cudnik, Jr.

I met Lissa through her little buddy, Donny. Although I did not have the pleasure of getting to know Lissa well, it was evident that she possessed a beautiful soul, and I was touched by her strength and dignity. Our hearts and prayers go out to Lissa's family and friends. May the light of her heavenly star shine on you all.

Dearest Loved Ones,

Although I never knew Lissa personally, I would see her in the halls with her wonderful smile! I have shared the sorrow with many of my students who were close friends of Lissa's; the tears continue to fall. Part of her legacy will be the many, many hearts she touched while at Lockhart Middle. You are in my thoughts and prayers. With love, Linda Ward

NOTE: THE FOLLOWING ENTRY WAS DICTATED BY 8 YEAR OLD KIMMIE & TYPED BY HER MOMMY SHELLEY:

I'm sorry Lissa died, but she is now in glory with her Heavenly Father. I hope you feel better about her death. I feel really sad that Lissa died, too. I'll miss her, but I'm glad I'll see her in Heaven one day. Lissa was my friend, and I'm so glad that I got to go to her Puppy Party. I liked the balloon that said, "It's a girl!" I also liked the time on July 4, 2002 when Lissa was better and we enjoyed fireworks together on our street! I'm gonna really miss Lissa!!

Love, Kimmie
