Marjorie Fallon Obituary

Fallon, Mrs Marjorie of Winter Park passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017. She was 89 years old. Born in Malden, Mass., she is the daughter of the late David and Evelyn Moulton. She was raised in Melrose, MA and attended Melrose High School graduating in 1947. She was a member of the Lincoln School, Cloak and Plume, Varsity Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball teams. On February 15th, 1952, Marjorie married Lewis Fallon, Jr. at the Church of St. Mary in Dedham, MA with Reverend Richard Norton officiating. They traveled extensively with the Marine Corps taking them from coast to coast and Hawaii where she enjoyed playing tennis, modeling and entertaining guests visiting the island. She was a member of the Aloma Methodist Church Pathways Club, Women Republican Club and the Retired Officers Wives Club. Mrs. Fallon is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lewis Fallon, Jr., her son, Jim Fallon and wife, Ruth of Winter Park, FL, her daughter, Marj Strickland and husband, Russ of Fort Mill, SC, a grandson, Russell Strickland, Jr. and wife, Shelby of Raleigh, NC, a granddaughter, April Williams and husband, Jeff of Rural Hall, NC and three great-grandchildren, Elliott Strickland, Aria and Kaiden Williams and several nieces and nephews. She was greeted in heaven by her great-granddaughter, Skyler. The family invites friends and family to attend a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 10th at Aloma United Methodist Church located at 3045 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, FL with a reception to follow in the church hall. The Rev. John Legg will officiate.
