To the Clayton family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with the loss of your husband, father, son and brother. Mark married into the Raus family and became a treasured part of us. In all his time on this earth he was an inspiration to those who knew him. My last time spent with him was a day of fishing during a trip to Florida, a visit that will always be a favorite memory of mine. His pain is gone; our pain from our loss is tempered by our assurance that "God is Love!"

Dear Clayton Family:
Like Mike Spatola, I was one of Mark's coaches and teachers at Trinity Prep. Although we had been out of touch for many years, looking at the picture here I can see in my mind's eye Mark as he was in those days - football player, student, leader and friend to all. I am terribly saddened to hear of his death and send my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy for the Clayton family, and for Mark.

Mark was a well respected, honest and fair person. Always kind and loved his family dearly. My husband, Jim and I worked for him doing landscape installs for his newly built custom homes. But, Jim, knew Mark and Kelli as friends before contracting with Mark. Mark used his spirit to lift up those who came in contact with him. His memory will be eternal. My condolences to Kelli and their children and the rest of the Clayton Clan. God be with you all as you navigate through the healing process. A great man, indeed, who not only made his mark, but made a difference in the Iives of those who crossed his path.
