Mary Michaud Obituary

MICHAUD, MARY "SUSAN", After a valiant fight overcoming leukemia, Susan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on October 2, 2006. Susan filled her life with love and generously shared herself and her talents in serving others. She loved helping others preserver photos and memories. She served her church in many roles, but especially loved the children. She loved music and travel, camping and adventure. She was a mentor and volunteered many years in local schools. The sweetest soul in the world is survived by her husband, Thomas, her mother, Molly Frazer, both of Casselberry, and her sister Janet Sala (Robert) of Belvidere, NJ. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 6 at 1PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 350 West Artesia, Oviedo. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Susan's name to Florida Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Fund, 2501 N. Orange Ave., Suite 581, Orlando, FL 32804.

Today, you would have been 59 and I would have teased you mercilessly! Miss you so much!

We went to Italy on a cruise. You would have loved it! We took a tour to the top of Mount Etna on Sicily.

Susan was truly my best friend and sister, she touched my life in such a profound way. I think of her every day and only hope that I can become the type of loving and caring person that she was? Not one day goes by that I don't think of all the ways in which this beautiful friend touched my life. I will always love her for her support and understanding and acceptance.

Susan is one of the fondest memories I have of Camp Hazelwood. She would sit up with me at night because I was afraid of the dark. She truly was a wonderful person and I think of her often.

Thank you to the many who worked so hard to help Susan fight to regain her health. I will miss her. There is an unfilled void in my life and the lives of those who loved her. Remember the good times.

Susan was always happy and friendly. She set an example of living a Christ-like life for the youth and children she worked with, as well as for the adults. It has been an honor to know her and have her touch our lives. We will miss her.

Susan's Kind heart and loving ways will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. The moment I met her over thirty years ago I knew we would be friends. One thing you could count on at Camp Hazelwood was that Susan would have a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone.

Susan was not only a great friend, she was my sister. I will forever miss her smile, her laugh, and her ability to give of herself unconditionally. She has such a beautiful old soul and has touched my life forever.
