Mercy was both fiercely compassionate and compassionately fierce. She made the world a better place. May she rest in love.

In the 15 years I have been the web master for AmigosUnidos.org, Mercy became much more than a client with a passion for helping people from all walks of life, she became a dear friend who always had an open door and insisted on feeding you delicious food any time you would visit. She will be missed by many and I hope her works will continue to inspire young women to take charge, organize, raise money, collect items that are needed and distribute them to those in need while somehow making it fun! I will always remember her joyful laugh.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mercy as a co-member of the Annie Russell Theatre Guild. What a beautiful and selfless woman.

Mercy will forever live in the hearts of friends and loved ones -- as well as the strangers she fed and helped in so many ways both locally and abroad. Among her many accomplishments is raising her daughters, Annette and Natalie, to be the caring and capable women they are today. Heartfelt condolences to them and other family members, as well as to all feeling the loss of such an exceptional person.
