Michael Joseph Notartomaso

NOTARTOMASO, MICHAEL JOSEPH, 88, Orlando, FL. Mr. Notartomaso was born in Newton, MA on October 12, 1914. He moved to Orlando in 1959 following 22 years of service in the U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S. Air Force, which included tours in the Pacific Theatre of World War II and the Berlin Airlift. He retired in 1980 from Orange County where he was Chief Electrical Inspector. He was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a 2001 recipient of The Order of St. Charles for Outstanding Ministry and Stewardship. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus for over fifty years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Claire, sons, Michael (and wife Terry) of Hilton Head, SC, and Tim (and wife Dinah) of Clermont, FL; daughters, Maria (and husband Jim) Church of Plant City, FL, and Cecilia (and husband Kurt) DuBeau of Rock Hill, SC; a brother, Raymond Bodewes, of Williamsport, PA; and sister, Connie Discenza of Sylva, NC; and six grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4001 Edgewater Dr., Orlando on Sunday October 27 from 7-9PM with a Wake Service at 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, October 28 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
