Mildred Everitt Obituary

Mildred ("Millie") Jones Everitt, 80, Orlando, after a 2-year battle with cancer, went to her heavenly home on December 27, 2019.
Millie was born in Charleston, SC, on May 9, 1938 to Charles and Sarah (Corley) Jones. She grew up in Lexington, SC and attended the University of South Carolina. She married Dean Jansen Everitt of Columbia, SC on July 11, 1959.
In 1974, her family relocated to Orlando. Millie was a successful real estate agent with Everitt & Roger Realtors until her retirement in 1999. She was also an avid golfer and was actively involved in the Ladies Golf Association at Orange Tree Golf Club, Orlando Women's Golf Association and the Ladies Golf Association at Maggie Valley Country Club, Maggie Valley, NC.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jan Everitt, children, Mark Everitt and Christine Overstreet Smith, grandchildren Paul Overstreet and Max & Chance Everitt, sister Ruth Jones Padgett of Charleston, SC and brother Charles Edward Jones of Chapin, SC.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 2499 N. Westmoreland Dr., Orlando, FL, 32804. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church and Cornerstone Hospice.

Ruthie, Ron and the entire Everitt so sorry to hear about Millie's passing. Even though, I never met her, through Ruthie I felt as though I knew her. Ruthie, sending love and prayers for all...prayers for safe travel as you and Ron are on the way.
