As a local GI physician, I would collaborate with Dr Latif in taking care of his patients. You can immediately tell the highest level of sincere dedication that he took in taking care of his many patients. I am going to miss the frequent phone calls that I would get from Dr Latif to help in the excellent medical care that he provided. I recently saw him in passing at a local grocery shop and had a quick chat. I did not realize at the time that this would be the last time I would have to talk to Dr Latif. How sad it was to hear the horrific news of his sudden passing. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. He is with now with our Almighty God; may Allah have ever lasting mercy and grace on his soul and eternal being. RIP my friend. You are surely missed on both a professional and personal level.

In Arabic "Inna lillah he wa inna ala-he rajioon"
English translation "Verily we belong to Allah and verily to him do we return"
I heard about Dr Anwar Latif and his efforts as a doctor and muslim philanthropist and community leader since the early 1990's when I moved from Arizona to Florida. One of his acquaintance in Arizona gave his phone number long time ago when I was moving to Florida. While going through my old papers, I found his number again and search his contact on internet since I was planning to move to Orlando. However I found that he has passed away a couple of months ago through this website. My heart felt condolences to his family to have patience for loved ones and have I a prayer for the departed soul to rest in peace in the hereafter

I was shocked to receive the news today in the mail. Dr.Latif was my mother's favorite Dr. She's 85 years old and has dementia but was able to remember his name. She loved Dr Latif so much.
He took care of my mother for a long time and he also was my Dr.
Dr.Latif was always in a good mood he took time to make sure our hearts was happy so when he would hear us he would said" You are doing wonderful"
We are so sorry your loss and We would for ever miss Dr.Latif
May God Bless you and your family.

I felt so extraordinaryly safe just because he was my doctor. His level of brilliance and commitment is unexplainable. He specialized in various medical arts and was absolutely a wealth of knowledge that allowed me to feel as if I was exempt from further illness. I had such comfort sharing the Earth with him. To hear of his passing strongly upsets me, I am deeply saddened and the world has less kind person in it. God bless you Dr Latif and rest in peace. Thank you for your 8 years of amazing service.

I was a patient of Dr. Latif for 20 years. There was always something personable and relatable about him. He always had kind, encouraging words, and of course a wonderful bedside manner... but you could sense that it was genuine. I hope and pray for his family and trust that he's that much closer to God now.
With love and warm regards,
