Donnie and MaryAnn, wether you remember me or not I don't know. I played softball with Monica for many years since we were younger. We never became best friends or anything but still just knowing her made a difference. She was such a kind and friendly person. She's not someone that is easily forgotten. When I heard the news about the accident my heart went out to you and the others involved. I wanted to go to Monica's service but unfortunately my uncles funeral was the same day. The pastor at his funeral kept saying not to worry because God has taken him into his own hands now. I know there arn't any words that can make you feel better but it helps me to remember that they are in the presence of God now and can live happily in our hearts looking down on us. Your family is in my prayers. God bless you all.

Donnie & MaryAnn, Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives during these trying days. Monica is a beautiful girl and is enjoying now what I hope one day to experience when the Lord calls me home. Your church loves you deeply and we also are hurting as we feel as if one of our family is gone as well. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Love always, Pastor Michael.

The Fasion Family,

I am truly sorry that all this happened. I was one of Monica's best friends and thought of her like a sister. When I heard about the accident I got on the phone and contacted you at the hospital to see what was going on. Well I just wanted to let you know that I had not been to church in a long time and last night one of the Pastors (i think his name is Mike) told me that he wanted to see me on Sunday and I told him that I would be there.

To The Family of Monica Faison..

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this sweet little girl. Unfortunatly, we do know what you're going through. Our son Justin McWilliams was tragically taken from us on April 7, 2002. Justin was only 20 years old. The pain is deep and intense and the questions of "why?" run rampant from within. I can tell you that God will help you through each day. Surround yourself with the family and friends that Monica left behind to comfort you and pull from those wonderful memories, her sweet smile and the happiness that she obviously brought to so many.

We are here if you need us...

Our family is so sorry for your loss of Monica. May these few words from William Wordsworth's "Ode to Immortality" help you find a small measure of comfort

"What though the radiance which was once so bright, be now forever taken from my sight.

Though nothing can bring back the hour of spleandor in the grass, of glory in the flower.

We will grieve not, rather find, strength in what remains behind.

In the primal sympathy, which having been, must ever be.
