Friends and family of Chip. This is also a friend from RI. My brother and I lived on the same street as Chip and his family in North Smithfield. I have many fond memories of Chip. I was my brother Jeff's "little sister" so managed to find ways to tag along and become quite a pest. We missed Chip when he left RI and we will miss him greatly now. My condolences to Chip's family and friends. I hope the best for his wife Sara and their child.

hi friends and family of chip,my name is brian bishop,i grew up with chip when he lived in north smithfield.i was best friends with jeff laverdiere who lived across the way,and thats how we became friends.in 1992 when chip moved to sebring fl,he and i had a big chuckle because my dad had just moved to the same town, and it meant i would get to hang with him in florida when i visited, this made me really happy because chip was such a great guy.he was caring, thoughtfull of others and basicly one of the most stand up dudes i ever met.in 1992 i spent my christmas in florida, and chip and i filmed an entire day of us hangin around town, going to the mall, driving and visiting a hobby shop(chip did always love those rc planes).i still have the video, and im gonna try and break it out and watch to remember my old friend.i last visited chip in the summer of 1998.he was living in orlando at the time,we had an absolute blast that summer,we went to mgm studios together, visited pleasure island, laughed at jeff when he couldnt hold his alcohol,it was always a great time when spent with chip.it saddens me that i hadnt been able to get ahold of him over the past few years,he will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him for the amazing person he was.rest in peace my brother,im so sad your gone.my condolences to the entire monk family at this tragic time.with love-brian m bishop.
