Stanley Atwood Obituary

ATWOOD, STANLEY EMERY, passed away Sept. 26, 2011, after a long illness. He passed away peacefully surround by his loved ones. Born in Santa Marta, Colombia, S.A. He graduated from McDonogh Military Academy, MD, and graduated from University of Maryland, phi beta. He traveled the world during his business career in the Fertilizer and Chemical field. Later in life he moved to Kissimmee, FL, and enjoyed his new career at Disney in Security, until his retirement in 2011. He was an avid aviator and was an active member of the QB Society, Orlando FL Chapter. Stan is survived by his wife, Catherine; son, Clifford, Cliff's wife, Madelyn and their two children, Stephanie and Emma, in MA; his daughter, Suzann, FL and step- children, Theresa Barrow, FL, and John P. Buck, NJ. Memorial service to be held at The Church of St Luke and St Peter Episcopal Church, 2745 Canoe Creek Rd., St Cloud, FL, 34772. Services at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
