Kathy,
I am sitting here in shock--my mom just called me and told me about Steve's passing. I just cannot beleive it. I don't know if you remember me, or not, but I met you a couple of times at our class re-unions. I met Steve at St. Joe in the 9th grade and he was such a dear friend. He was the class clown and everyone loved him. Although I haven't been in touch with him since our last re-union years ago, I still consider him to be a very close friend.
I will keep you all in my prayers.

I am very sorry for your lost of Steven. I worked with him briefly @ Hampton Inn when he was training on the audit. He was a Gentleman and well liked. He had quite a sence of humor and I know I drove him crazy watching cop shows all night. He will be missed by our hotel. Steven told me he was saved so I hope it will be a confort to the family knowing he's with Jesus now.

I am so saddened of you loss of Bubby.There was ONLY one Bubby. It is truly my pleasure, and I was blessed and honored to know him and his very beautiful wife Kathy, and the rest of the Hubbard gang.I will deeply miss his smile,his jokes, his good sence of humor and his caring of friends and family and of course his kind heart. Bubby was always good at anything he did from sports ,to his work,and as a husband,father,son,brother,uncle and friend. He is an amazing man,and god has got something special for him to do in heaven. Kathy & Family- I’m so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bubby was like a father to me and my little brother Leon, he was an amazing man. So many of my favorite childhood memories have him in them and I wouldn’t have it any other way. He will always be in our hearts and he will be missed.

The Hubbard Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Steve. You cannot help but smile with you think of him and his lively antics. He liked to host impromptu get togethers, with his storytelling that included his enjoyment of football, his passion for surfing, and the love he had for his family. Not to mention his quest for the perfect barbeque ribs!
We know that without his drive and vision, we would not be living in our wonderful neighborhood that he created. How lucky we consider ourselves to have met him.
Our prayers go out to the entire Hubbard family during this very difficult time.

To all of the HUBBARD FAMILY, I will truly miss Steve, it breaks my heart to know that he is gone; but we all have memories of him and that is what we need to think about when we think of him...the last time we were with him. I guarantee he brought a smile to your face.. he always did to me.
